In 2018, 9m Construction was delighted to work with Top Hat Theatre School in Northampton, delivering a full transformation of their new home.
The project began with an empty shell — a blank canvas ready to be shaped into something special. Working closely with the client, our team carried out extensive renovations to create a vibrant and inspiring space tailored specifically for dance and performing arts.
The result? A suite of high-quality, purpose-built studios that now provide a professional and welcoming environment for students and instructors alike. From sprung floors to mirrored walls, acoustic enhancements to specialist lighting — every detail was carefully considered to meet the practical demands of a working theatre school, while also capturing the creativity and energy that Top Hat is known for.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in supporting the arts in Northampton through this project. It was a pleasure to bring the vision for Top Hat Theatre School to life and see the space being used to nurture the next generation of performers.
